We offer a carefully curated programme of cultural and social activities to help students immerse themselves in Spanish life, make new connections and better understand the cultural context of their experience abroad.

These activities provide meaningful opportunities to connect with local people and gain a stronger insight into the culture and way of life.

Activities may include:

• Walking tours of the city

• Visits to cultural landmarks and museums

• Traditional cooking classes eg. Paella Masterclass in La Albufera

• Language exchange events (intercambio with local people)

• Group meals and networking nights

• Excursions to nearby towns and beaches (eg. Buñol for La Tomatina)

All activities are optional but strongly encouraged — they enhance student wellbeing and broaden the learning journey beyond the internship, providing students with a true insight into the cultural life of the Valencia Communitat.
